About me:

Hello, I’m Trey.

I’m a generally registered psychologist and currently completing a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked across several settings including private practice, non-for profit, hospital and work-related contexts.

I’ve supported a variety of different people from all walks of life, and have learnt that we all have a story and we all share a similar humanness. I’m passionate about understanding the core roots of people’s distress and underlying patterns to help those find autonomy and meaning in their lives.

My approach is psychodynamic, attachment orientated and trauma-informed, meaning I’m interested in understanding how our early development and relationships play a part in how we think, feel, behave and identify as adults. Therefore, I aim to walk along side those confronting things that may be buried or needing nurturance, and to explore all parts of their whole self.

How do you start your day?

With a cold dip in the ocean – depending HOW cold.
